How a firm becomes a WONE Global Partner, and how it can lose the position

Five criteria, the same in every market, decided by a committee that does not handle Partnerships commercially.

Every position is filled by review against the same five criteria, in every market. WONE Global looks at availability, depth, leadership and cross-border practice, and admits a firm for the work it leads in its own market.

Who decides

Admission, review, probation and removal are decided by the WONE Global Standards Committee: Krishan Kakkar, Managing Director; Suman Arora, Director; and Kulpreet Yadav, Director. The people who look after Partnerships commercially do not sit on it.

How Partners are reviewed

Every Partner is reviewed every quarter on response times, client ratings, confidentiality and conduct. Two missed service levels in a quarter, or an average client rating below 3.5 over two quarters, leads to probation and then to removal.

What a firm keeps

Each firm keeps its own name, identity, regulator, insurance and client relationships. A position creates the opportunity to be found and to work with colleagues in other countries. It does not guarantee referrals, instructions, revenue or ranking.
