  1. From 1 January 2026, Belgian VAT-registered businesses must use structured electronic invoices for business-to-business transactions, exchanged through the Peppol network.

    PDF invoices sent by email no longer suffice. Intra-EU transactions are covered by EU rules due to apply from 1 July 2030.
