  1. The Cyber Security Ordinance 2025, gazetted on 21 May 2025 with immediate effect, cancelled the Cyber Security Act 2023 and annulled cases and proceedings under several of its speech-related sections.

    The ordinance also bans online gambling and makes some AI-enabled crimes and online harassment of women and children offences.
