Serag Almorgene is a Business Development and Commercial professional with a background in Petroleum Engineering and multi-role experience across the energy, oil & gas, logistics, and consultancy sectors in Libya. He currently holds roles across Gate Energy, Gate Holding Group, and The Libyan Consultancy Group (LGC), where he contributes to commercial operations, business development activities, and advisory support.
In his current work, Serag is involved in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research and commercial analysis, and supporting partnership development with local and international stakeholders. He contributes to commercial processes including pricing, cost estimation, supplier coordination, and contract-related activities within energy and EPC-related projects.
In addition, Serag has operational exposure through his role at Waha Oil Company, where he participates in field operations, production monitoring, and technical reporting, gaining practical experience within oil & gas environments.
He also contributes to advisory work through The Libyan Consultancy Group (LGC), supporting internal reporting, process improvement, and consultancy documentation. Serag holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and is an Associate Member of the Energy Institute (UK), with continuous development in corporate finance, financial modeling, and data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
