Lawyer since 2001, admitted to practise before Italy’s Higher Courts and Adjunct Professor of Corporate Tax Law at LUMSA University, he is the founding partner and Managing Partner of LEXIA Avvocati, with offices in Rome and Palermo. He coordinates the tax and public finance practice of the firm. He advises and represents Italian companies, multinational groups, financial institutions and private clients in tax matters and tax litigation. He has also acted as legal adviser on tax and public finance matters to regional governments and legislative assemblies. He currently serves as Minister for the Economy of the Sicilian Regional Government, as a member of the European Committee of the Regions and of the National Council for Development Cooperation at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
