He provides legal advice, assistance, and representation in tax and public finance matters for major national companies, multinational groups, banking and insurance groups, small and medium-sized enterprises, public entities, and self-employed individuals. He has defended numerous prominent political and institutional figures in tax damages proceedings before the Court of Auditors.
He has gained particular experience in advising and representing public entities, including local authorities, in tax and public finance matters (for example, over the years, and within regional governments of various political persuasions, he has represented municipalities in complex tax and public finance disputes, acted as an expert for mayors, and acted as a consultant in project financing transactions undertaken by public entities).
For years, he has been a point of reference for some of the main trade associations (traders, industrialists, cooperatives, artisans, consumers, workers\' unions), having successfully conducted, among other things, tax and public finance disputes, including those of media interest.
He has gained considerable experience in tax litigation , representing significant cases before the Tax Courts of various Italian cities and before the Court of Cassation – Tax Section, as well as before the United Sections of the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court.
Over the years he has received various awards for his professional activity. To cite the most recent, it is worth noting that Forbes magazine included his name in the list of one hundred Italian Legal Leaders 2020, 2021 and 2022, while I Love Sicilia magazine listed him among the most influential Sicilian centers in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He was also listed among the best Italian tax lawyers in the 2020, 2021 and 2022 rankings of Milano Finanza, as well as \"tax consultant of the year\" and \"cassation lawyer of the year\" in the TopLegal Awards 2019, for the successes achieved before the Tax Section of the Court of Cassation and \"professional of the year\" in the TopLegal Awards 2020. Lexia Avvocati was the winner of the TopLegal Awards as firm of the year for the \"Southern Italy and Islands\" category. consecutively in the 2019 and 2020 editions and in 2022.
