Shruti Dvivedi Sodhi is an accomplished lawyer and consultant with over 28 years of experience advising multinational corporations, funds, start-ups, and private equity/venture capital firms. She has worked with leading law firms, global organizations, and established her own legal consulting practice in 2016, with a philosophy centered on making legal counsel simple, practical, and implementable. Her career is marked by several landmark achievements, including leading the Bharti–IBM strategic IT outsourcing deal, now featured as a Harvard Business School case study. She was instrumental in American Express’s digital payments entry into India, established the Legal Centre of Excellence for Colt Worldwide, and designed robust governance frameworks and compliance mechanisms at Aircel. Shruti is deeply engaged in mentoring and innovation. She supports entrepreneurs through the Start-Up India program, guiding the Kerala Start-Up Mission and SIIC IIT Kanpur. She serves as a Sub Board Member of ASPIRE, an automotive innovation initiative under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, and acts as an Impact Champion for the Wadhwani Foundation, advancing MSMEs.
