Roman Ivanov is a highly skilled lawyer specializing in banking, finance, and M&A, with extensive experience advising banks, financial institutions, and corporations across Moldova and internationally. He has advised on landmark transactions, including Moldova’s first commercial bank acquisition by another bank, awarded 2023 Deal of the Year by CEE Legal Matters. Roman also brings regulatory and legislative expertise from his work with the Moldovan Ministry of Justice. He has supported major financing deals exceeding USD 120 million and advised on cross-border projects involving Swiss, Turkish, and Romanian institutions.

Before joining Vernon | David, Roman worked at the Moldovan Ministry of Justice’s Foreclosure and Enforcement Department, where he was actively involved in drafting and revising national legislation on debt recovery and enforcement in both Russian and Romanian.
