Eng. Kazawadi Papias Dedeki is a visionary engineer and activist dedicated to Africa’s transformation through engineering. With more than 25 years of expertise, he is the President of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO) and the founder of STAR Construction and Consultancy Ltd. He is also the driving force behind TASKS AFRICA CBC, a social enterprise focused on advancing sustainable solutions in the built environment. Eng. Kazawadi has served as Chair of the WFEO Committee on Anti-Corruption, President of the Institution of Engineers Rwanda, and is recognized for his mastery in circular economy, project management, arbitration, and mediation.
Eng. Kazawadi Papias Dedeki is a leading African engineer, activist, and catalyst for change, committed to reshaping Africa’s destiny through reliable engineering solutions that drive sustainable progress. With over 25 years of experience, he currently serves as President of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO). He is the Immediate Past Chair of the WFEO Committee on Anti-Corruption (CAC), Immediate Past President of the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER), and the founder of STAR Construction and Consultancy Ltd.
Eng. Kazawadi is a Fellow of IAPM, AETDEW, and AAET. His expertise spans circular economy, construction project management, arbitration, and mediation. Beyond engineering, he is an entrepreneur and the visionary behind TASKS AFRICA CBC, a dynamic social enterprise dedicated to transforming Africa’s built environment.
He is committed to nurturing the next generation of problem-solving leaders and strongly advocates for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), aligning his vision with the AU Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want.
