Njiramanda Mbewe is an admitted Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer in the High Courts of Botswana. She graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa. She boasts over 11 years of experience in the legal field.
* She is the founder of Mbewe Legal Practice a citizen owned and female Led inclusive firm that practices in Gaborone. She is a Human Rights and anti Gender Based Violence activist and Her firms mission has been to be legal service with a difference.
* She imparts legal knowledge to the nation on various platforms in the country like television, and radio. She has Participated in initiatives for the fights against Gender Based Violence and presented in a committee before the Chief Justice where it was decided that GBV issues shall inherently be urgent and has also presented for private Foundations such as the FNBB foundation.
* She is a currently a committee member of the human rights, rule of law and advocacy committee and a former member of the Law Society of Botswana Council.
* In the year 2021 her firm partnered with (BONELA) and had the first ever intervention against GBV in the wake of covid. It was launched by the Minister of Health Dr Edwin Dikoloti.
* Mbewe also founded Baagisanyi Network for this cause, which is a group of professionals that she put together comprising of the District Commissioner, a kgosi, a reverend, and a social worker and Legal Ladies Botswana and Sewelo Mentees a mentorship network which bridges the gap between law students and attorneys with judges and successful women for purposes of mentorship and personal development and growth.

* Mbewe was selected for a Fellowship Professional Development Experience (PDE) and worked with American Lawyers at the Urban Justice Centre in New York , where she worked physically for 6 weeks and is currently working with them to date.
* She sits on the Nigerian based AdvoKC board a civic and social organization that tracks governance and promotes accountability and social justice.
* She continues to run her firm and advocate for women and children’s rights with a special focus and passion in Access to Justice and inclusion.
* She is well known for her impactful work in the community and winner of the prestigious Women in Law Awards 2024 by the World Law Alliance specifically in the category of "Community Champion," representing Botswana for outstanding contributions and active involvement in her field which has truly distinguished her from other nominees from other countries around the world
