Jacki Lewis is the owner and managing partner of a 45-lawyer firm and an acknowledged leader in immigration and refugee law. Holding an LL.M., she combines deep expertise in refugee protection and immigration issues with strong business-development acumen.
A passionate advocate for refugees and the LGBTQI2S community, Lewis serves as president of the board of Egale Canada and previously sat on the board of Friends of Ruby. Her professional excellence has been widely recognised: she received the Law Society of Ontario’s 2020 Laura Legge Award; appeared on the cover of Who’s Who in the World 2023; was listed among Best Lawyers in America for her commitment to access to justice; and was recently honoured with the Torch-Bearer Award for inspiring her nation and community.
Lewis has also shared her knowledge in academia, teaching refugee law at Carleton University and Western Law, and continues to champion equitable legal representation for vulnerable populations.
