Raya is an award winningmultilingual legal advisor with over 12 years of experience. She founded a boutique legal consultancy in 2012 which focuses on the Middle East market. She advises SME’s and multinationals companies based in the GCC region and clients across USand Europe on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters focusing onestablishing businessescorporate restructuringjoint venturesmergers and acquisitionscommercial agreementsemploymentcompliance/regulatory filings and general corporate matters.Prior to setting up her legal consultancyRaya worked for two leading International Law Firms Simmons&ampSimmons and Reed Smith.Raya regularly speaks at global conferencesseminars and roundtables. She won an award in 2017 and has been named “Legal Consultant” of the Year by the Arab Woman Awards. Raya is also active in various women development initiatives in the MENA region and Founding member of the Women Lawyers Group-Middle East. Raya was appointed as an advisor for the Middle Eastfor the Diplomatic World Institute (Brussels).Raya holds an LLB law degree from the University of Westminster and completed a LPC from the College of Law in London. She fluent in ArabicDutch and English.
