Currently, I am a Senior Legal Counsel at SAP. In this role, I am passionate about staying abreast of AI and data privacy issues, laws and regulations, and developing solutions to protect the security of customers’ data while driving business goals and objectives.

Before starting at SAP, I worked ClickUp as their first Privacy/ Product Counsel. My practice before moving into tech varies a lot within the context of law firm and in-house positions but merely focused on representing the interests of insurers covering cyber risk and working with companies to resolve various forms of insurance disputes and breaches. My work included insurance coverage disputes with millions of dollars at stake, requiring understanding and interpreting complex insurance policy language and working with sophisticated constituents, including opposing counsel, mediators, underwriters, and C-Suite professionals.

I also have in depth litigation experience. My work included handling cases from inception to completion, conducting initial investigation and legal analysis, discovery procedures, motion practice, case strategy, and trial work. I have taken and defended over a hundred depositions, argued countless motions, and prepared for and second chaired trials.

I love taking on big challenges without precedent and being challenged to creatively apply my legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law. I possess a passion for innovation and bring “founder’s mentality,” a “get-it-done” approach, and a willingness to challenge conventional wisdom by asking, “What if?”
